[Dxbase] problem

Larry,
We no longer have that version on our machines, since there have been two
upgrades since then. My only safe suggestion is to recover from your
backup. If you had your .mdb file open and simulatneously overwrote it with
an ADIF file, then there is no telling what condition the database will be
in. It may be partially .mdb and partially ADIF in which case it's
destroyed. If you were lucky enough to totally overwrite it with ADIF, then
maybe you have a complete ADIF file in which case you could change the
extension to .adi instead of .mdb and then view it in Wordpad to see what
you have. If it is in tact, you might be able to use Non DXB import and
import the ADIF file to a fresh ( empty ) DXbase database file.
Good luck,
Jack

Subject: [Dxbase] problem
Hello all -
My problem is this.
I think I inadvertantly set my .mdb file to adif.
When I start DXbase2003, I get the message "Unrecognized database format"
Can anyone help me restore it back to its original format?
I tried system restore on computer, but that didnt help.
Thanks.
