 After using the Basic Log Program that you sent me for Excel 5.0
everything went fine - even for someone not familiar with Excel. I had just
never had a reason to use it. As far as I can tell it's working the same as
you describe for the Excel 97 version except for some wording in a couple
of the prompts. I think this method is faster than doing the entries in
DXbase 5.0 then exporting to ADIF. The only question is if it would be
beneficial to be able to mark confirmed contacts while you're entering.
However it may be easier to do that in DXB2005 after the adif import.
