[Dxbase] problem with entering ASL Manager info into QSL Info window

Bill,
Please pay careful attention to the contents of the QSL Info Window. As the
error msg suggests, the adr1 field cannot be zero length, meaning it cannot
be blank. So, if you look at the address you are trying to save, you will
see that it is empty and therefore the error msg is presented. Note that if
you intend to save an address that comes from the address CDROM database,
you must indicate this in the QSL Info Window by clicking this choice so
that the software knows which address you are trying to save.
Regards,
Courtney

Subject: [Dxbase] problem with entering ASL Manager info into QSL Info
window
I have DXBase 2005. Each time I enter a callsign into the Manager Field in
the QSL Info window, for example, JR2GMC for the DX station AH0K, and select
Update Record from the Record pull-down menu, I get a dialog box which says
Do you want to save the address record for JR2GMC in the Manager
Address Database?
After I select 'Yes' I get an error message:
Field 'MGR-ADR-.ADR1' can't be a zero-length string.
I hit the OK button on this error message, I am able to save a QSL Mgr. Map
message OK.
Note that I have the 2003 RAC data loaded onto my HDD.
73,
Bill NT1Y
