[DXBase] DxB2005 announce question

I haven't thought this out completely, but let me take a stab at it. No,
you cannot have different voice announces as you describe. The announce is
a straight on/off option and if on, it is played when the spot is one that
you need. But, maybe you could change your user option alert options before
you go to bed so that it only looks for all time new ones. As in All band,
mixed mode. Not sure if that gets you closer to what you want. I know the
DXbase software pretty well, but I get a little confused about all the alert
options.. hahahaha ... do the same thing buying lipstick.... too many
choices...

Is it possible to have the new band or new mode spots appear in the
different colors in the Info window, but only have all time needed ones be
announced in voice? I have a lot of band/mode stuff I need to fill in, and
that's a great new feature. I'd like to use that for when I'm in the
shack. On the other hand, I'd be happy to be woken up in the middle of the
night to work an all time new one, but not for just a band or mode. I
didn't see a way to do it, but I thought I'd ask the experts. If not,
consider it a suggestion for DxB2006! :-)
