Wow, that is the strangest that I've heard.
What OS are you using?
Do you have a firewall? If so, did you give permission to DXB005?
Also there is that option in most firewalls to allow a program to use other programs to
connect to the LAN?

Subject: [Dxbase] Network and DXB2005 Problem
I've been fighting a problem since updating to DXB2005. After loading it and making the
normal setup changes, I noticed that I was
unable to connect to my home network. I have a DSL router box and I have 4 computers
connected to it that I network together.
I put the restore feature to work and restored my computer to a date late in May and poof,
I can connect to my home network no problem.
But..... DXB2005 now doesn't connect to my favorite Internet Cluster....... So after some
fiddling, I reload DXB2005 and bang, I now get
internet spots, but then to my dismay, no can connect to the Home Network....... So back
to restore, I get my Home Network
back but guess what, DXB2005 can't find my cluster again.... so it's back to
DX4WIN......... Any ideas as to why or how DXB2005 is messing
up my home network? (or visa-versa)
Thanks in advance.... Larry W0FLY
