[DXBase] Opening my log with Access

Someone posted info that they were able to use Access to open a DXB log file while DXBase
was also open.
I tried it and had no success.
using Access 2000.
And when I tried to open my w9ol.mdb file I got a message saying
"The database that you are trying to open or convert is currently in use, or you do not
have permission to open it exclusively.
And then gave a few suggestions.
All of which looked dangerous...
Even though I have multiple backups in multiple places. LOL
