[DXBase] a log design for qsl managers.

As I've been transcribing a lot of late '80-90's logs I inherited after the passing of
W4FRU, I've made a streamlined qso log format.
I only use,
date, time, callsign, band, mode, rsts, prefix, cfm, qsls, qsl via, opr call fields.
I find I can blaze along pretty fast entering the log data in this fashion while watching
Oprah or Jerry Springer. :-)))
I am a touch typist who used to hit 50+ wpm before old age and arthritis set in.
But I've found a couple of little features that if DXB had, would make this chore even
easier.
Date and Time fields should increase the day and minute by the + & - keys.
One hit would increment a day or a minute with obvious month or hour rollover.
Upon entering the mode field, typing a c, s, r, d would enter cw, sb, rtty, or digital.
The sb could be changed to USB or LSB as indicated by the band.
Also, the proper 59 or 599 would be entered into the rsts field.
A rst other than 59 or 599 could be overwritten of course.
(most of these logs are fast paced dx or contest logs and the rst rarely changes.)
(please don't bother flaming me about sending true rst reports.) ;-))
Last field is for Operator's callsign.
It presently assumes that I am the operator and enters my callsign as that's who DXB2004
is registered to.
I have to do a Edit, Search/Replace to change it.
Maybe allowing the Field to use the last used entered callsign.
Not sure all these features can be provided, there may be a conflict with how the fields
should act for normal logging activities.
Could these feature be tied to the .co selected?
I thought about a 'RESUME' feature where after closing DXB and reopening for the next
session it would continue from the last date, time, band etc that was last used.
But, I can live with entering that info once and let it go on from there.
Some may wonder why I include the QSL Via field, I still get hardcard requests via the
bureau or direct and this way I know how it was returned.
So, after all of this, does anyone have any suggestions that I may have overlooked in
making this system as efficient as possible?
Anyone who would like the 'Manager.co' file I created for myself, I'll be glad to send it
as an attachment.
I'm pretty sure it can be used by anyone else who DXBase2004.
