George and all on the Reflector,
Yes - George, I have just finished a viable "work-around"
Report -- BUT, there will have to be certain stipulations
that go along with the Report...
(1) The report will only be useful to a DXbase2005 user who
will "want" to take a few extra seconds of time to go through
the EXTRA STEPs that will be required to obtain the desired
output sheet(s) ...
(2) Here is what will be involved in running this NEW REPORT :
You will go through the "normal" steps that you always do to
obtain the DXCC QSO form .. and, after you have hit the
"Compute" button within the "DXCC Award Submission" window -
you will press that module's "QSO Form ..." button.
The reason for doing this - is that I need for you to obtain
the specific LINE NUMBER on which the "very first" of your
Multiple QSO's on a single QSL card is placed/starts ...
You would simply hit the QSO Form ... button and scroll over
to the page that contains your "QSL card with Multiple QSOs".
In my own dummied-up version, that was line 707 ...
Once you have this Line Number written down - you simply EXIT
the DXCC Award submission module completely -- and then go
the the normal Output / Standard reports /
and you will then select my new report called:
ModifiedDxccqso.rpt
Once you select that report filename and hit the View button
to run the report - you will first be asked to type-in that
LINE NUMBER that you wrote down ... Once you type-in the
Line Number and hit OK -- the Report file takes the information
that Jack stores in the DXCCFORM "table" of your own mdb log file,
and uses that information to make this new version of the
QSO form.
In my dummied-up case, I had 2 separate callsigns with Mulitple
QSO's on each QSL card -- and with this NEW Report -- the
QSO's are listed as you wanted them.
So - Yes - would be the answer to your question George. BUT, only
if you "want to use" the new Report.. if so, pse send me an
email and I will send you via email attachment - the new report
file - as well as the necessary Rptdesc.ini file words.
Remembering that this new report is only meant to be a
"work-around" .. It will give you what you want - just takes
a few extra steps and a few more seconds of your time..
I hope that I have described what the new report does George.
And, I will look for your next email.
