To all:
The information I am using to make the Miscellaneous
Award Reports is derived from your NOTES field of your
logbook.
Currently, the NOTES field is a "free flow" field of
40 characters. With it being "free flow" there is no
particular "formatting" within the 40 characters.
Therefore, when I am looking into your NOTES field for
the "specific info" that would tell me the QSO "is" a
QSO that can be used for a particular Misc Award Report,
I "need" to find something that is "static/stable" to
"key-on".
(1) In the case of the ARLHS Misc Award Report, I am looking
into your NOTES field for :
LH
followed by the "designator/reference number" for that
particular Lighthouse/Lightship.
The formatting of an example/sample entry would be:
LH ITA-026
The above sample is for a ARLHS entry of an Italian Lighthouse.
(2) In the case of the Islands_Report.rpt file - using the US Islands
Award (USI) report -- I am "keying-in-on" the 3 letters of:
USI
followed by the "designator/reference number" for that
particular US Island.
The formatting of an example/sample entry would be:
USI ME-21S
The above sample is for a US Islands entry of: Mt Desert Island
in the State of Maine.
The most recent Rptdesc.ini entries I made for distribution
with the BIG ZIP file -- shows "examples" of acceptable formatting.
These are ONLY examples/samples of the acceptable format.
I hope that the above information will help in the understanding
of how I make the Misc Award Reports for the DXbase2005 users.
73,
Joe WA6AXE
