Interesting ...
I read in some MS Marketing blurb that you should create a restore point,
just in case.
I think I'll wait a couple of weeks and let you pioneers get shot by the
MS tribe.

No problem with putting the Hosts file back - everthing needed for DXBase is
automatically backed up every day. Try it. It pays!
I have updates from Microsoft set to auto so the SP2 download/install came
at the usual time of day scheduled in the udate setup file. Took about 25
minutes to download and install. I could have refused it. But beware! I
thought that if there was a problem then I could always use "Restore Point"
in XP to revert to the previous installation. Not so! (of course). SP2
installation deletes all restore points prior to the install including the
one for that day so I'm stuck with it. No other problems since with DXBase
but a few surprises elsewhere.
