Jim
Im not sure Im understand the point about YU5JA? Is the "German" a typo?
If you worked YU5JA on 20 May 1990 he should count for "Yugoslavia".
Macedonia, which was the YU5 call area of Yugoslavia and later became 4N5
and then Z3, did not become a DXCC entity in its own right until 8
September 1991
I entered YU5JA in my log with the same date as you and DXBase correctly
calls it "YU", if you enter the same callsign post 8 Septmber 1991 DFXabse
correctly allocates it to "Z3"
I cant see a problem?

YU5JA was Yu5JA/4N5 or YU5JA/Z3 The YU5,n Z3 and 4N5 were all the same
Macedonia. The original call that I put in the log was YU5JA 20-05-1990
2350z 20M CW and it appeared in as a YU German Repuplic. This was the one
I
could not think of.
Any one else experience the same problems?
Jim
