Tom,
You can "Compact" your MDB file by taking it into Acess97 program and
compacting it .. ONLY Access97 though - not Access2000 ... or, you can
use the "Access Maintainer Lite" program (that is meant for Access97
MDB files) and it will compact it automatically ...
Yes- your MDB file will "grow" -- but you can routinely "compact"
it and you will be very pleasantly surprised at how much space is
taken up by "dead areas in your MDB file" ..
The main thing here is to compact it with ONLY programs used for
Access97 ..
