Hi guys,
I have been using DXBase for 3 yrs now, and at the same time keeping up my
Dos based logbook program that i wrote. Although i would like to let go of
the Dos based logbook, it does something for me that i have not been able
to do in DXBase. I have the latest version of course... DXBase2003.
What i would like to do is generate a report that would tell me what IOTA
contacts that i have, that have been sent but not confirmed. Also, since i
am retired, i have found that i am busier now than before, and i find that
sometimes i forget to send a card for some new IOTA that i have
worked. Rather than look back and forth between the different fields, i
thought generating a report would be much easier. But then i started
looking at the wizard in DXBase and now im not so sure, it would be
easier... hi hi.
In my Dos based program, i had it bring up the IOTA number, the Callsign of
the dx station, the date i worked the station, whom i sent it via, and the
date i sent it. The reason i also used the date that i sent the card was
..... if there was no date, then that told me that i had not sent it hi hi.
Is it possible to create something like what i want with DXBase2003? Let
me rephrase that... i'm sure it's possible... is there someone out there
that could meet me on the air and possibly lead me step by step through the
wizard, so that i could do it?
I am willing to make a long distance phone call to someone, if they want to
leave me a number, and then maybe i could call you up, or we could get on
20 meters and talk about it..........
