Bill,
A word of caution about trying to reuse the .ini file. As you pointed out,
directory location info is stored there and if it is not consistent with the
new installation, DXbase will not run. Also, the screen coordinates are
stored in pixels. If the new machine is not exactly matched in terms of
video resolution, problems will also occur. We do not recommend this
shortcut to anyone unless they are an expert user who knows exactly what the
entries in the .ini file mean and how they are used.
