[DXBase] DATA CRASH ISSUE

Ken,
I guess you mean Access rather than Excel. During development of the last
upgrade, we switched to the Microsoft Jet Database engine 4.x which is what
is used in Access 2000. We found some serious bugs in the Microsoft
software and ultimately removed the new code and kept the earlier Jet
Database engine 3.x. For DXbase purposes this works fine and does all that
is needed. If there have been some MS updates, we might take another look,
but there is not real compelling reason.
Regards,
Courtney
