I have been trying to get the cw port working for a couple of weeks. I am
running windows XP, so I am using DTR on my radio serial port. (The help
file states "DXbase allows you to use the same serial port for CW that is
used for your TNC or HF radio provided it does not use the DTR leads.") When
I set "default DTR High" on the radio port settings, my radio keys up, which
is correct. However, whe I try to send CW, I get nothing.
I have tried setting the com port address in the driver using 'regedit' to
no avail. When I look at my com port address in my system\hardware\device
manger\com4\resources, it shows "I/O range C400-C407" and "IRQ17", so I set
the com4 data in regedit as follows:
"SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DriverX\Parameters\Dxb98 COM4\ Port Base
0x0000c400 (50176)"
PortCount says "0x00000007 (7)"
(Default) says "(value ot set)"
and IgnoreConflicts says "0x00000001 (1)"
Does anybody have any suggestions. I operate primarily CW, so this
limitation may be enough for me to look at another logging program.
Thanks for any assistance!
