[DXBase] Upgrade not working

Is the file N9SE.mdb on the CD ROM? If so it has a 'read-only' attribute
which is not compatible with the data base engine. You must transfer the
file to your hard drive and then right click on the file, select properties
and near the bottom for attributed uncheck 'read-only' then apply the
change.
This is a consequence of copying the file from CD-ROM in which files are
'read-only'. Only if you use Direct-CD will files not be forced to
'read-only' on CD-ROM.

Subject: [DXBase] Upgrade not working
I just upgraded from DXBase2001 to 2003 and I can't get my old log imported.
When I run the DXB Import utility, I get the following message:
"The Microsoft Jet databse engine cannot open the file 'D:\N9SE.mdb'. It is
already opened exlusively by another user, or you need permission to view
its data."
I installed DXB2003 on a new computer and I burned a CDROM with the .mdb
file.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Marty Ray, N9SE
