[DXBase] suggestion for help requests

I think it may help those seeking assistance if they would ALWAYS include
this type of info at the beginning of their message.
Version of OS, such as Win95, 98, 98SE, WINME, 2000, XP.
Type of computer, such as cpu, memory. comports, type of cw/ptt interface
There are so many quirks, peculiarities between machines and OS that
sometimes what works in one case will not in another.
If the problem is an IMPORT difficulty.
Please state the Source Program name & Version and Target Version.
In my personal case, WinXP and DXB2003 seem to work perfectly.
Maybe a upgrade to one or both will solve your situation quickly.
(usual disclaimer: Your mileage may vary). :-)
One of the features of WinXP is the System Restore/Restore Points options.
I NEVER install, upgrade, make a hardware/software change without setting a
Restore Point.
It's saved my butt more than just once.
Being anal about backups, I've got my log on 4 different Hard Drives and 3
different CDRW's.
