[DX] Question about E31A

My thanks to Ron, WN3VAW and Danny for the replies to my recent E31A
question. I have forwarded all the info to Alf, G4DDS.

 Ron, as you suggested, I have contacted Bill Moore, NC1L, at the
ARRL DXCC desk. He said that the 1993 QSO with E31A would indeed count
for DXCC if a QSL is submitted. Getting a QSL from JH1AJT may be
difficult.

 Danny, your historical info on Eritrea was interesting. DX-ing has
helped me learn more about the geography and history of our global
neighborhood. I work with a fellow from Eritrea. He was surprised
several years ago when I shared my joy at having contacted his home
country for the first time. I don't know of any other hobby that brings
people together like DX-ing.
