[Dx-qsl] Press and Rumors

 Ron, it is not so "small" when the DX media passes on rumors that go around the world to millions of Amateurs.
They needed to be told about what I consider as poor reporting.

It seems to me that certain DX on line News services are reporting more on rumors than substance. The reporting in both instances today announced that "several" sources (it turns out to be one ham) are rumored to have heard about a major DXpedition to P5 in May.
No facts, nothing substantiated and no sources other than this one ham who essentially said something to the effect that "he heard it" somewhere.
The reporting does nothing to enhance the credibility of their News Services. Certainly there is enough verified DX news around the world to avoid passing on rumors.
