Let me attach a response from a senior ARRL official regarding the decision
to suddenly count the 7O1YGF Yemen dxpedition several years ago. I asked
what the additional information was as they already had for years the
approval the local Aden authorities had given.
"You can be curious, but you have no "right" to know. The League made a
decision to count 7O1YGF. They said they had additional information, and
they made a decision to count 7O1YGF. That's it, as far as I can tell.
DXCC is the League's program; they are free to make any decision they want.
If you disapprove, there's not much you can do other than ask."
There is the ARRL/DXCC's arrogant answer. Need I say anymore.

Really? As an ARRL member and in their DXCC program, why wasn't I contacted
for my input? Let me guess. Member opinions count for zilch.

Exchanges and views on the DX QSL reflector are healthy but much more
potent if we express them to the DXAC. Their recommendations influenced
the ARRL Board of Directors who ultimately approved the new DXCC rule
changes.
