When I first got my DXCC in 1967, the idea of attaining the honor roll
wasn't something I envisioned. I was just looking for 20 more new ones
for my next endorsement.
I remember attending my first W9DXCC meeting that year and being just
flabbergasted when one of the older attendees showed me his need list
and it was only about 15 countries.
I only started chasing DX on RTTY and other Digital modes in 2008. I
just worked my 300th entity for my Digital DXCC. However, attaining the
Digital DXCC honor roll isn't something I yet envision. I'm just looking
for 5 more new ones for my next endorsement. Making the honor roll is
tough, and so it should be, IMHO.
