The earliest LotW confirmations I received were in October 2003
(when LotW opened to the public).
The earliest QSOs confirmed are in 1977 - within months of getting
my first house, installing a tower/antenna, and getting on the air
on a regular basis (at least more than the occasional QSO using a
long wire from a dorm/apartment window).
