res documentation and the callsign does not show up the QSO is rejected oth=
erwise it is accepted.=20
I have seen so many different ideas being presented over the past couple of=
days that I have lost count.=C2=A0 Hams tend to be resourceful when necess=
ary, so let me propose this.=C2=A0 This evening I started counting the numb=
er of places that I know of that publishes the=C2=A0 list of the most recen=
t expeditions that have been approved by the DXCC Desk and when I ran out o=
f fingers and thumbs I decided that was enough counting.=C2=A0 This informa=
tion is published either daily or weekly depending on the publication cycle=
which means the information is there for the resourceful ham.=C2=A0 I then=
=C2=A0wondered just how hard is it to=C2=A0 create some sort of spredsheet =
or database using a simple text editor,=C2=A0very easy.=C2=A0 The only diff=
icult part is to remember to parse the data from whatever source you find i=
t then enter it into your spreedsheet or database and viola you have your o=
wn source of information.=20

As a management consultant for 30 years, the first thing that perks my ears=
=20
is the old..."we've always done it like that" comment. =C2=A0LOTW seems to =
be=20
working now and is very informative, and is re-capturing those that were=20
ready to dump the ARRL due to antiquated methods of DXCC QSL checking, and=
=20
non-support and responsiveness for my membership dollars, or ....bang for=
=20
the buck! =C2=A0Glad someone woke up !!!=20
As has been stated, they finally "got it", but this project may be a bit=20
more "sticky" due to other DX entities authorizations. =C2=A0I've always be=
en=20
mystified by the DXCC. =C2=A0Sometimes, as in my case, the CY0AA documentat=
ion=20
was cleared efficiently and quickly. =C2=A0Where the 7O1YGF, and G3JKI/5A=
=20
expeditions were concerned, it took YEARS to get approved. =C2=A0Some guida=
nce=20
from them would've been helpful, other than..."sorry, the wrong person=20
signed the license". =C2=A0Maybe a database maintained by DXCC of what is n=
eeded=20
for each country to be approved would make things easier. =C2=A0The informa=
tion=20
is out there, they just have to compose and decide on what IS truly needed.=
=20
I know they're jobs aren't easy, but maybe they should look at changing the=
=20
methods to make it easier for them and others.=20
IMHO...with still a THANK YOU to the DXCC for their efforts to make it=20
better in the future.=20
