[Dx-qsl] Solar Flare

This large sun spot is #1678, and it's already on the northwest limb on it's way out of earth's view. Looks like some media sensationalist hype has been going around as well. They seem to have a field day with sun spots.

No, but there's a current sunspot that size which may be producing some strong solar flares soon.

Has anybody heard anything about the solar flare headed our way?  It is supposedly 6 times larger than the diameter of the earth.
