This is great DXpedition, even greater if their operating conditions are
considered. This is a "tent and generator" DXpedition (TU K4UEE for the
phrase). They are not staying at the SP&SP Hilton. They are on top of a
rock in the middle of the South Atlantic ocean, away for anywhere, risking
their lives, giving us their time, money, physical and mental fatigue just
to give us, who are sitting comfortably in our air-conditioned radio rooms a
QSO. We should not criticize them or ask for "40-meter PSK, please",
"listen for Tanganyika now" or things like that. About the logs on line,
for decades we did not have that. So what? I'm sure they don't mind a dupe.
And to the lids who send "UP UP UP UP" on the DXpedition transmitting
frequency: Have a beer and watch TV or take care of the XYL. We should
work them on the bands and modes we can and thank them for their effort.
My 2 cents.
