[Dx-qsl] IRC or GS questions

Rich,
I've used both IRC's and Green Stamps to YV with equal success in the past. I think a lot depends on who you're sending the card to, and where they are located. That is to say, those hams that tend to live in or near the larger cities seem to have an easier time with IRC's, as compared to those living further away. (I suspect the same basic problem we have here... the larger Post Offices tend to have someone around who knows what IRC's are, and how to redeem them; the smaller ones don't)

If you're uncertain, go with GS's. Of course, the usual caveat of a plain envelope with no call signs on it (to avoid attracting attention, presuming someone nefarious hasn't noticed all the incoming mail to the ham and guessed why) applies.

I agree that W9OL's chart is very useful. Unfortuantely, the data for Venezuela is 11 years out of date - and the EY data is 8 years out of date....

Hi Rich:
I usually follow this:

Seems to be up to date everytime I check it. It is a great resource for me.
Good luck...
