[Dx-qsl] LOTW and their "log jam"

Well Mike, if I'm not mistaken, in the past the end of the year was the
deadline for applications to be received (one way or another), not
processed.
Only after ALL received apps for 2012 are processed, & the year is "closed"
will apps received as of 1 Jan 2013 be processed.
I know that this came up a couple of years ago, when the status change for
the former Netherlands Antilles new entities were being processed, and the
St. Barts new entity a ways before that.
So I wouldn't worry about WHEN they are processed. Just get your app in
before the end of the year, if you want it processed as a 2012 app.

Anyway.

We've got five days to process application in 2012 for DXCC to make the DXCC
Yearbook (for those who care about such things).

I uploaded logs over a week ago that - if matched in LOTW - will result in
additional Challenge credits (band credits, if you prefer. but it's all the
same).

Then again, if a good number of folks are waiting until the last day,
there's little possibility that the logs will get processed in time to make
matches before year-end.
