[Dx-qsl] 7O6T QSL

Design a system whereas the RSGB can process IOTA awards without paper QSL's
and I will agree with you. The IOTA card checker needs to see the name of
the island on a paper card. However, they do have a system where when you
submit an IOTA contest log and your contacts matches the logs of IOTA
entries you do get credit. But if you work a new IOTA outside of an IOTA
contest you need his card.
So you must not be in the IOTA program but others are.
A station like 7O6T is not a new country (7O) for me. I already have 7O
confirmed. But their IOTA AF-028 is a new IOTA for me so I need their card.

I find it very satisfying to just get LOTW credit.
QSL cards are like certificates, all so known as Wall Paper.
Does not matter to me if I get a card or not just as long as I get ARRL
credit and LOTW fits the bill.
With LOTW you save money and eases the burden for the DXpiditioner the time
and effort to send out a card.
Don't get me wrong if your a card collector by all means get a card. By the
time I die that card will be worth nothing to me unless your a card
collector. My widow will have no use for my cards except the pleasure of
getting rid of them once and for all including all the junk that I had
collected over the years.
Just my opinion.
