As a U.S.-based ham, I consider these a gimmick and potentially something that can draw unwanted attention. First Class international letter mail coming from the United States now ships airmail; there is no more surface service offered by the USPS and most major western countries are the same now. Secondly, security tinting on both outbound and inbound envelopes (where you can nest the green-stamps) is vastly more important, and there is no indication on their site that these envelopes are security tinted. I'd pass if I were you. - pjd -----Original Message----- From: dx-qsl-bounces at mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx-qsl-bounces at mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Tom Anderson Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2012 5:27 PM To: dx-qsl at mailman.qth.net; W3HNK at aol.com Subject: [Dx-qsl] DX Airmail envelopes http://www.jampaper.com/Envelopes/AirmailEnvelopes The website above has airmail envelopes (business size), plus a short one for insertion inside. I've bought from them before.
