If the address country line says Oman then it is DX postage at 98 cents. I
believe the CPO in the address refers to a Central Post Office box number.
APO/FPO address now days end in AP (All Pacific), AE (All Europe) etc. In
the past APO/FPO's would addressed as the Military P.O. address that
processed the mail such as FPO San Francisco for Asia and the Pacific and
APO/FPO NY for Europe. The zip code used in the address would send it to the
correct base or embassy. I received mail via many APO address during my 25
yrs in the US Coast Guard.

Subject: [Dx-qsl] Mailing Question
Recent contact with Oman (A45), shows a mailing address of CPO 111 in
Oman. Does this require just a 44c stamp each for both envelopes or the
normal
98c from the US to Oman? I believe an FPO (Fleet Post Office) takes
just the 44C but not certain on the CPO. Thanks.
