[Dx-qsl] curious about a USPS oddity

You make think I'm crazy but I can't figure a reason for this.
maybe some postal worker can explain
I get qsl returns from stateside hams and managers any day of the postal 
week.
but
QSLs from foreign hams or managers...are only delivered on Saturday.
Occasionally a foreign envelope will be delivered during the week.
But the absolute majority, arrive on Saturday.
I asked my postman, (the worlds nicest postman), why and he had no answer.
But he said that yes, Saturday is the heaviest day he has for the many 
Europeans who have moved to my area.
He noticed that he had more foreign originated mail for Saturday than 
the other days of the week also.
Anybody else experience this...I'm near Chicago and the postal sort 
building is just a mile away. LOL
