Received today: 

PZ5RA direct (approx. 8 week turn around)

Confirms #96 on 17 meters. just need four of the remaining dozen I sent out
at the same time to come in. (fingers crossed)

One side note. and please don't take this out of context, as I'm not angry
or upset, more bemused than anything. So I say this with a big smile on my
face:

For years, I've heard or read of DX stations making requests on the return
envelopes. return address, no return address, add USA to the return address
or don't, add a USPS or Airmail stamp or not. it varies greatly. But the
one universal seemed to be an overall detestation with licking an envelope.

So, as has been my custom of late, I sent Ramon a "peel strip seal" no
moisture SASE.

I guess he didn't see the strip to peel. It was left intact.

The envelope was stapled shut. Three strategically placed staples, top of
and to each side of the QSL card.

Pending further evidence to the contrary. now I've seen it all!!! < g >
