This is a little off topic, but it's a hot July day, the bands are dead (well, not really. just worked TO8YY on 10m)...
Is it me or are 6 meter operators the worst qslers in the US? I'm just getting started on six, finally broke the 100 grid worked mark, but have 28 cards outstanding, spanning better than a year in waiting. These are all US stations (and a couple of VEs). I get better results from V51AS (Hello Frank)! SASE was included with all. Some of them have even returned emails saying "the check, sorry, the CARD is in the mail." A few I recognize as being active contesters and we all know how bad THEY can be. Or is it part of the massive USPS conspiracy to stop me from attaining VUCC?
Come on guys! Open envelope, read card, check log, write card, put card in enclosed sase, put in mailbox for mailman to pick up. If I am qsling you, that means you ARE a rare grid (at least to me).
Or is there a trick that the SIX METER VETERANS know that I haven't learned yet? Oh, and about that secret handshake...
Have a great day, everybody. The summer will be ending soon, the sunspots are on the rise, dxpeditions are being planned and all is right with the world. hihi
