[Dx-qsl] Missing International to USA QSLs

Lovely.
There's another possibility, too... a sub or temp on a route may not
recognize the envelope and return it.
A couple of months ago, we had a sub postal carrier one Saturday. She
happened to catch me in front of the house (she drove to the front of the
house, walked up to the mailbox, then drove to the next house... the usual
carrier would park and walk the route... never mind) and asked me if I knew
why this magazine (Worldradio) was mailed to "WASHRag Editor, c/o Wireless
Association of South Hills, Inc." since that didn't match our last name.
When I told her that I was indeed the newsletter editor for my club, I got a
lecture on how the US Government required me to register my "fictional name"
with the USPS, and until I got permission, she was obligated to RETURN the
magazine to sender as Address Unknown. Then she gave it to me anyway,
saying it was too much bother to do all that. (Never heard of such a
requirement before or since)
