Hi Alan, et al,
That's why I'm concerned. A few of my fellow DXers are
listed. All but one of those listed got their cards. The fellow who
is listed but didn't get his cards yet is not concerned, and he
shouldn't be. We all sent our cards via air mail within several days
of them leaving the island. The last time their sponsor list was
updated was 15 August, and my call is not there. That means that
either they didn't get to my envelope yet. or that it got lost in the
mail. In case it did get lost, I made an on-line donation and did
the electronic QSL request about 10 days ago.
All I want to see is my call listed with the other sponsors. I
can wait for the physical card or the LoTW upload. I guess the
problem is that I didn't donate electronically right off the bat. I
don't like using my Credit Card via the Internet, but I caved in
eventually. Hence I donated twice, and I am still waiting to at
least get some sort of confirmation that they got one or both
donations. The cards will come eventually, but having given them
financial support, I'd like to be sure it won't be via the bureau in
2-3 years time.
This likely is just a case of them not having updated the web
page in about a month . . .
