[Dx-qsl] IRCs

Hmmm,
Well I have a few here bought in the UK and everything on the frontside is
in french. So too bad if the PO clerk in Dingledongleland doesn't speak
french!
QSLing has become so full of "Rules" these days that it's very risky giving
all those prima-donna DX stns/QSL mgrs out there yet another excuse not to
accept your QSL request. (but keeping the IRCs or course!)
Whether or not stamping is actually optional, it's recognised by most as
"normal". It's too easy to reject something abnormal, so I certainly would
not chance using them.
Most POs in the UK offer a receipt for anything bought at the counter these
days. Maybe Ben's daughter still has it and could take them back to be
stamped?
Failing that, maybe Ben should exchange them for postage stamps at his own
PO - big loss. Or, dare I say it, make his own "rubber stamp" ! Know what I
mean ;-)) ???
Good Luck
Dave
