It certainly did not seem too difficult to work TX5C on 40m RTTY. He 
was working a pattern and I just put my dipole station above the last 
worked guy and called a few times. While it was frustrating finding 
his pattern (you don't have much time to tune in a RTTY signal), I 
only had to try a half hour or so before catching on.
Yes it was easier for the midwest (Texas), but a dipole at 40 ft 
isn't much. In fact the dipole end almost points that way. I also 
worked him on 160m and with my antenna and 500W (loaded high SWR 
dipole for 80/40) that seemed easy once I found out how he operated.
It is fun to brag and relieving to belly ache about the one I 
missed. I thought I had him on 10Mtr RTTY but it was KE3A not 
KE3D. So I tried again and because the signal was weaker still, I 
didn't make it there. So lets drop this line and move on to the next 
pileup. We all get some and don't get'm all unless your station is 
like W3LR, K5TR, or another mega station.
