Hi:
Received PWØT confirmation for QSO on Feb., 2002, from Steve Wheatley, 
KU9C. Sent to Steve at his U.S. address, April 1/08 and received April 
29/08. Envelope was stamped and mailed from Hong Kong which was rather 
surprising, put a nice way to start the day. Thanks Steve.
Also received 3YØC confirmation for QSO on Feb. 2001, from Mac, WA4FFW. 
Sent to Mac on April 1 and received today, April 30. Really happy to 
get this one confirmed. Thanks Mac.
I think I have been very lucky with the results of my batch of QSL 
requests I sent out on April 1, 2008. On that date, I mailed 21 
requests direct with SASE with a couple $$ for postage. Of the 9 sent 
to QSL managers located in the U.S.A., I've received 7 confirmations so 
far. Of the other 12 that were off NA, sent with SASE and a couple $$ 
for postage, I have received 4 confirmations. To me, that is 
outstanding turn-around time.
My thanks to all the QSL managers that have looked after my requests. 
They are "old date" contacts and take time to do. You fellas do a super 
job.
Also, I have to say a special thanks to a very good friend of mine and 
who, in my opinion, is the best QSL Base Manager in this great hobby. 
None other than Bob McCourt, KI4RU. Bob dug up all the addresses for me 
and did a terrific job. Looks like he batted 100% on accuracy so far.
