Japan Post, now a government company, will be fully privatized,
effective October 1, 2007. No postal rate change or any service change
will occur, but the service counters will be closed during 1230-2400JST
30-SEP-2007 for the transition to the new computer systems. Tracking
service of register mail and parcels over Internet will not be available
during 2000-2400JST 30-SEP-2007. 
I hope things will be going alright.
