Same problem here in NH Jim, I feel your pain. I've been to to just
about every post office in Southern NH and no one has any and most
refuse to order them. Even the Postmaster at the largest post office
here in Manchester was clueless. When I asked the postmaster, after
getting a deer in the headlights look from the clerk, her reply was
"Gee, I don't think the postal service uses those anymore. I haven't
seen one in 15 years.".
The postal service has to have the most incompetent and inept people
working for them. I loathe going to the post office each time I go.
On a recent trip, there were three clerks supposedly working at the
desk and a line with at least 25 people in it. I was next in line,
when all three finished with their customers they decided to stop
taking customers and began to argue with each other about who was
going on break first. This lasted for five minutes before they
started taking customers again. I've lived all over the US, this is a
nationwide problem with the postal service.
