Ya know, when dealing with the post office.. it's all in who you deal with.
This afternoon, I went back to my local post orifice. this is the
same post orifice, just last week, were the clerk had no clue what I
was talking about when I asked for "International Reply Coupons". The
clerk I had today was the complete opposite of the woman I dealt with
last week. I went in to mail a Priority letter and buy stamps. She
then asked "can I help you with anything else?" and I said "well, you
probably don't have any but I need some International Reply Coupons".
To this she replied, "actually, we just might have some. I'll be
right back." and five minutes later she returned with an envelope with
the last IRC in the building. I then asked if it'd be possible to
order some more, she said "sure, how many would you like?". So I
ordered a bunch and they will be here next week.
Dealing with the post office is like chasing DX. You have to be
persistent, patient, and in the right place at the right time.
