[Dx-qsl] Question about SWL awards

Dear Berkin,
Any SWL station can send his cards to a station he has copied. If the SWL
report corresponds actual activity, the report can be confirmed by a a
respective card in return. Cards issued to SWLs by HAM stations, confirming
actual activities, can be credited towards SWL awards.
As an active HAM, you can also receive SWL cards for your own activity. But
these cards are just requests for confirmations. They can also be declined.
What if, for example, somebody asks for a confirmation of your activity,
say, on 6 m band which is not allowed in Turkey. Obviously such a QSL
request has to be rejected. Therefore cards from SWLs are not valid for SWL
awards.
However, I recall special awards to be granted to HAMs for a certain
quantity of SWL cards accumulated. But this is a special case which does not
have any relation to conventional SWL awards.
