Ron:
Years ago when SoJo was operating from McQuarie Island as VK0SJ. He
sent his logs to his manager via RTTY. I got my card back with a NIL,
which was impossible because SoJo worked nearly all the time on the one
of the 20m nets at night. The net control op was a W6 and she ran a
fairly tight ship so to speak. I worked him there and the control op
and others said my contact was good, so I knew something was wrong. I
wrote back to his manager explaining the whole situation and the manager
wrote back with a valid card and apologized that SoJo's original RTTY
log had been scrambled in transmission.
