> I find a great amount of hams are not
members of their national group. What happens to those cards for the people
who are not members, and is there a way to tell in advance who is, or who
isnt?
HI Denny -
no, there is absolutely no way of telling which VK is
member of national QSL bureau. The membership is optional.
Also many VK ham find WIA membership bit costly.
To make things even worse, some active and contest stations
are not members either.
What we are trying to do here is to say to VK hams -
hey- it is possible to have incoming cards delivered to you
for next to nothing on monthly basis; and we can forward them
to overseas bureaus 3 or 4 times per year at very low cost too.
We can also print you a basic, no frills qsl for peanuts.
So there is no excuse for not QSLing.
But it is very much a pioneering project, as exciting as selling fridges to
Eskimos.
So if you guys can send some of your QSL cards, even 5 or 10 at the time
than we can than get back to locals with something to offer.
