On the odd chance that somebody on this list might know who the sender
would be, I pass along the following information:
The ARRL Third Call Area Incoming QSL Bureau has just received, in an
"apology envelope" from the U. S. Postal Service office at New York's
Kennedy Airport, a portion of an envelope postmarked in Khabarovsk,
Russia (UA0C-land) on 24 January 2007, addressed to this bureau. The
postage stamps are in excellent shape, however, sorry to report that
the envelope was cut in half and all the contents have been lost. The
return address was on a part of the envelope that is missing, so the
postmark is the only clue we have to go on.
