qth.net appears to have decided to make use of Mr Jacobsen's
list. Why either qth.net or Mr Jacobsen have issues with
traffic from JA is beyond me. Reading Mr Jacobsen's site, I
am happy he does not have a problem with VR, as he doesn't
seem especially approachable.
Since everybody thinks VR is same-same as BY, I really
am surprised I am not experiencing the same. This is
an important datapoint, IMHO.
Ask Asahi Net to reject all traffic from USA. Total country
level blocks are quite silly & unless strongly protested,
are probably best addressed by tit-for-tat reaction - then at
some point when everybody has blocked everywhere else,
that silliness will be evident to all & maybe it will finally stop.
