In CT1 we pay 30 € for the yearly REP membership
plus 0.03 Eurocent for each Outgoing QSL card via the
REP - IARU Bureau.
Incoming cards are free for REP members.
The REP Bureau staff as mentioned is of only 1 person, she is payed
and among other tasks for REP she handles the incoming/outgoing
QSL cards, I'm glad we got her aboard, the bureau works fine in her
hands.
As I understood there can only be one IARU member society per country,
so that might be enough to clear things up for you Ricardo (CU2JU), nothing
to do with politic issues I might add.

Hi Graham,
as said before, volunteers here in (CU) Azores, but the service
usually works only for members of the clubs. in CT, they have, a cpl
of paid staff persons also doing the work for the bureau. And as we
Azores still haven't got the right to our own incoming bureau due to
many politic issues, we get the majority of incoming bureau from CT,
and that has expenses, that we clubs cover, but each members pays a
yearly fee , here in CU2 is 25€ a year.
regards
