I had to use the good offices of my friend in Thailand, E21EIC (BTW he
is visiting the states at this time, you will be able to meet him at
both Visalia and Dayton) to mail cards from Thailand to Pakistan and
return to Thailand in order to get AP2IA's cards for myself and some
friends in our local DX club. When we did it that way they came back
immediately. It is my feeling that some postal workers in that part
of the world (not only Pakistan) find it, shall we say, "emotionally
challenging" to handle mail coming from AND going to the USA.
Later on cards also arrived through the Bureau from AP2IA.
