I thought it was interesting how many asian stations worked nearly all JA's
and EU with the exclusion of NA. Those of us stuck on the noisy half of 40
mtrs. There were other stations who gave up on NA after the howling
multitude never listened to the stations instructions.
Of course that could be because some could not hear the instructions and
were blind calling from the DX spots. If the DX station asks for the Yankee
Oscar, please don't keep calling if you do not have yankee or oscar in your
call. That's why the JA's are regarded as polite operators. They listen
before keying most of the time. North America calls and calls and calls. 
Some times I think they call to prevent other from getting the multiplier
or new one!
Just one man's opinion of course, your mileage may vary. But please look
in the mirror. More DX has been worked by listening, listening, listening
more and then sending at the exactly right time and frequency.
